Cody Kaufmann

My name is Cody Kaufmann. I have been married to Amanda for almost 20 years now and we have four kids; Cade, Chloe, Cora, and Charlotte. I am an elder/pastor at a small country church in Central Texas where I enjoy reading, writing, and the frequent tobacco pipe. You can find all my posts at “The Interpreter’s House”
The purpose of this blog and site is primarily to offer encouragement to those who have entered through the wicket gate. If you don’t know what that means, stop what you are doing and buy a copy of “Pilgrim’s Progress” by John Bunyan and then come back when you are finished. Or just google it, but you’ll want to read the book if you haven’t. If you have read it, read it again.
Secondarily, I hope to persuade the one who might be standing outside the gate, debating as to whether to enter or not, to begin the journey. Be warned, it isn’t easy. Nor is it what you expect. But this is the only road that leads to life. *Bonus: there is a pretty incredible prize at the end, but we will get to that.
I hope you walk with me on the way.
Stephen Fuchs

My name is Stephen Fuchs, I am an elder at Crossroads Bible Church in Rockdale, Texas. I am a fourth generation chicken farmer at Ideal Poultry Breeding Farms in Cameron. I graduated from Texas A&M in 2009 and currently attend Reformed Baptist Seminary with emphasis on historical theology. So blessed to be married to Mikaela, together we are raising our two children.
I am also heavily involved in Lions Clubs, serving locally in Cameron as well as in the leadership of my district as District Governor. My primary posts will be work that I have already submitted for classes at RBS, but I will also be posting some material from my personal studies and Sunday class preparation. I thoroughly enjoy church history and its practical applications in the church today. You can find all my posts at “Thoughts from the Chicken Farm”
